Acknowledgement and Waiver:
By posting a cash bond through the Richmond County Traffic Court, which will be forfeited in
payment of the traffic citation received, I acknowledge that I committed the offense for which I
received the citation. I understand that by paying my ticket online, I am entering a Guilty Plea. I
understand this will be reported as a conviction to the Department of Driver Services and that a
guilty plea may impact my driver's license.
I further acknowledge that I understand the nature of the charge against me, the consequences of
a guilty plea, and that I am waiving the following legal rights:
- I am waiving my right to an attorney;
- I am waiving my right to a trial befbre a judge or a jury;
- I am waiving rny right to question the State's witnesses and present my own witnesses and
evidence to the Court;
- I am waiving my right against self-incrimination, that is, my right to remain silent and
- I am waiving any legal defense that I may have to the charge for which I received the citation.
